Starting a new project

I bought the pattern and fabrics for a new project when I visited the annual quilt meeting earlier this month. It is called “Rabbits prefer embroidery”, by Bunny Hill. I saw the sampler hanging at Quiltegaardens stand, and I instantly knew that I had to buy the kit.

Yesterday I started stitching the first block. This is my first time using hand dyed “Cotton Garden ” threads from Australia, and I just love the delicate shades.
