Presenting my very first design!

Oh boy, it is quite nerveracking, this presentation of my first design! I made this tablecloth a while ago, and now I am working on the pattern. It is difficult exactly to describe my sources of inspiration. Those who know me well knows that it is always “cooking up there”, and many of my ideas comes to me right before I go to sleep. Other times I get inspired by the fabrics, it is almost as if they talk to me (sound crazy??). This little, ever so simple tablecloth popped up in my head when I was fondling with a piece of fabric with tiny roses. The fabric took me years back, to happy childhood times, and I wanted to create a quilt that made me feel that way again.

In my opinion, I succeeded. I can`t help it, I still think the tablecloth is cute, cute cute!
