Planning a quilt for a dear friend

One of my oldest friends, Nina (no blog) is turning the big 40 later in the fall. I decided that I am going to make a quilt for her, and here are the fabrics I am going to use.

Her favourite colors are pink and purple. In addition, I have added light greens and beige. I plan to start on this project tomorrow, the very last day of my vacation.

I have also worked on the christmasquilt I showed you in my recent post. I did a bummer not tracing the pattern before I ironed on the stabilizing fabric. It made tracing the pattern a challenge. Will not do that mistake again any time soon……
